Started with one property — my grandparents' home — and a belief that short-term rentals could be run with more care, more consistency, and more heart.
how it started
A Home Worth Keeping
I started hosting in 2017 to keep my grandparents' home — a house they built with their own hands. What began as a way to preserve something meaningful quickly turned into a passion for the craft of hospitality.
Having traveled extensively for work, I knew from experience what separates a forgettable stay from one you talk about for years. I set out to create the latter — for every guest, at every property.
Today, Porch Light Reserve manages properties across the Kansas City metro and Northwest Arkansas. Every one is held to the same standard: the kind of stay guests call the best they've ever had.

“Seeing a property through the eyes of a guest and knowing exactly what will make it stand out in search results and in reviews.”

“When guests say "This is the best Airbnb we've ever stayed in." That's the standard I try to create for every property I manage.”
