What we collect
When you use the inquiry invitation or contact form, we collect the information you enter: your name, email address, optional phone number, inquiry intent and area, message, marketing choice, and the page where you submitted the form.
How we use it
We use inquiry information to respond to you, help with a stay or owner question, and keep a record of the conversation when needed to provide service.
Email delivery
Inquiry form submissions are delivered through Resend by email to the Porch Light Reserve business owner. Your email address is used as the reply-to address for that inquiry.
Marketing emails
Marketing consent is separate from contacting us or booking. If you choose to receive occasional email updates, you can unsubscribe at any time by emailing hello@porchlightreserve.com.
A local dismissal setting
If you dismiss the inquiry invitation, we store a seven-day dismissal timestamp in localStorage on your device so we do not show it again right away. It does not contain your form answers.
Analytics
If analytics are enabled, we may record broad categories such as event type, page, viewport size, region, property identifier, and general inquiry intent. We do not include names, email addresses, phone numbers, stay dates, messages, street addresses, or other sensitive form contents in those events.
Retention and requests
We keep inquiry information only as long as reasonably needed for the purposes above. To ask for access to or deletion of your inquiry information, email hello@porchlightreserve.com.
Third-party direct-booking handoffs
If a direct-booking link takes you to a third-party booking service, that service handles information you provide there under its own privacy terms. Review those terms before sharing information with that service.
