We loved our stay in this wonderful home. Location was amazing. So close to restaurants and everything we needed. The house was well stocked and the game room downstairs was such a fun space. Great communication. You can tell they want their guests to feel at home and have a wonderful experience. Would highly recommend!

Perfect for our quick trip to KC- the home was clean, instructions were easy and it was easy to communicate with the hosts!

Our stay at Dave & Ellen’s place was very comfortable. The hosts made sure all necessities were available and went above & beyond with little extras that many other rentals don’t provide.. for example wine and plenty of fresh coffee. The house is also very pet friendly with full fenced back yard and a beautiful neighborhood for walking. We felt relaxed and at home. Beds were very comfortable.

We came to Kansas City for the fifa World Cup and booked this place for the weekend. We found everything overpriced (acomodación and transportation) the place was a bit far from the stadium, very expensive but amazing!, plenty of rooms for everyone, very comfortable and the kids loved the playroom!!!

Our second time staying here, and Dave is a wonderful host - responsive, proactive, accommodating. The home is clean and fun. Great location near our loved ones in Overland Park.

Very Nice Property in Quiet Neighborhood

The house was as beautiful as the pictures on the listing. The basement was really nice. We played lots of ping-pong and poker between attending World Cup games and Fan Fest events. Easy access to highways that take you downtown or to Arrowhead. David responded promptly when I reached out to him. Highly recommend stay8ng here.

We were in town for a volleyball tournament at Advent Health/Bluhawk. This place was close to the venue as well as lots of shopping, restaurants, coffee spots, etc. The house was perfect for our group of 6- everyone pretty much had their own floor. The ping pong table was a lot of fun! Everything was clean and comfortable.

Excellent landing spot for our family on a weekend getaway. The host was extremely accommodating, and everything was just as described.

Property was great, exactly as described. Neighborhood was wondeful for walking the dogs. One of the best, most thorough stocked STRs I have stayed in. Didn't want for anything.

David & Ellen were great at communicating from prior to check-in to check-out. The home was exactly as described. We appreciated the fenced backyard for our dog and my niece/nephew loved the ping-pong table in the basement. After a day of travel, the wine was a nice touch on arrival! They even had extra travel sized toiletries in the master bathroom for things that may have been forgotten (which came in handy when we discovered my niece had forgotten to pack her toothbrush!). Overall, their house ranks amongst the top places we have stayed. We'll definitely book again with them when in the area!

Hosts were kind and responsive and even had the house ready early. Home is clean and spacious and exactly as pictured. Check in was a breeze. Check out was the best check out experience I’ve ever had, as they offered to do all check out tasks for us. Plenty of parking space in the driveway. The basement was great for hanging out. Neighborhood is quiet and well maintained. Close to plenty of shopping and restaurants. We will definitely stay here again.

We stayed at another one of David’s Airbnbs at Christmas and loved it so much that we booked this home for Easter — and it was just as wonderful. The house was spacious, comfortable, and full of special personal touches that made our stay feel really welcoming. David was incredibly responsive and quickly got a propane tank hooked up so we could use the grill, which we really appreciated. The wine, chocolates, and cookies were such thoughtful surprises and made the stay feel extra special. We had everything we needed to cook and enjoy time together as a family. We’d happily stay at one of David’s places again.

This was the perfect stay for our family over Christmas. The house was decorated and felt like home. We sold our home of 24 years and are in the process of building a home. Needless to say, we needed a home for our adult kids to come home to for Christmas and David made possible.

5 stars across the board! We have stayed in many airbnb properties and this is one of our favorites. We arrive and all the rooms and bathrooms were thoroughly spotless and everything is in good condition. The location is perfect for easy access to highway. They have all of the household supplies covered and in sufficient supply (super annoying for the host to only provide a couple dishwasher pods, 1 trash bag, 1 roll of toilet paper, 1 towel per guest etc - so glad we didn't have to deal with that at this property.) Our dog loved the fenced back yard as well!

This house was perfect for our Thanksgiving getaway. It was clean, comfortable, well stocked and enough room for our family. The hosts were thoughtful, responsive and very accommodating. When we asked about a baby gate for the two infants in our family they made sure one was provided. I highly recommend this house and will stay here again if our travels bring us back to the area.

My family was in for a wedding, David provided such a welcoming space that felt like home away from home. Proving a beautiful and welcoming environment allowing my family to relax and catch up around a table. It truly was a wonderful experience and if we find ourselves in KC in the future we will be looking to see if David is still hosting

Beyond perfect. Spacious and open living/gathering/dining areas upstairs and downstairs. Everything was very clean, smelled great, well decorated, very comfortable beds and bedding. Kitchen was well stocked with many extras that went above and beyond expectations. Really thoughtful welcome treats, a great Keurig, a French press, a drip coffee maker, a blender, crockpot, really nice baking sheets. It was so nice to be able to cook just as I would at home. Lots of games to play and cards. The basement was such a hit! Huge TV with really comfy couches, poker table, ping pong, full bath. Everything was spotless and in perfect condition. Pet friendly, nice fenced in yard. Sweet, thoughtful, responsive hosts. Master bedroom was <chef's kiss>. We booked our stay to be close to the park where our daughter was getting married, and it was the perfect place for her to get ready, several very nice full-length mirrors. I wish this house was MY house! :)

We had such a wonderful stay at this home! The house itself was perfect for our family — clean, comfortable, and well-stocked with everything we needed. The smart TVs, kitchen setup, and even small touches like fun games and activities made it easy to settle right in. What really stood out, though, was the hospitality. Dave and Ellen were amazing hosts — always kind, thoughtful, and quick to respond. They went above and beyond to make sure our stay went smoothly, from helping with check-in timing to accommodating a late checkout and even an extension of our trip. Communication was clear, detailed, and proactive throughout. When we mentioned small things, Ellen immediately addressed them and handled everything with care. They even surprised us with a gift card to one of our favorite local spots, which was such a thoughtful touch and meant so much to us. We’ll absolutely stay here again the next time we’re in town. I have to say that this was one of my best Airbnb experiences. My family of 7 came to KC to celebrate my mother’s 84th birthday. We were welcomed with 2 lovely bottles of wine and a Nothing Bundt cake in the refrigerator. This kind gesture was above and beyond so thoughtful. The house was absolutely spotless. The little extra things (great shampoo, good toilet paper) were such a nice change from some places we have stayed in. Dave and Ellen’s home truly felt like home. Ellen was very responsive and so sweet. We will most definitely stay with them again when we return to KC. Thanks again for making this experience so incredibly wonderful!

David's place was just as described. it was a perfect place for the functions we wanted to go to. plenty of space for everyone and we enjoyed using the grill and eating spaces every night. Would definitely recommend David's place to anyone visiting the area.

Beautiful home in a quiet neighborhood. Lots of space for our group; the finished basement/game room was perfect for the older kids. There was wine waiting for us and crumbl cookies-such a nice treat after our drive to get there. We definitely will book again!

We had a great experience. We were in town for a family reunion and had my family of four, my Mother and Sister with us and thought getting a house was nicer than having to get multiple hotel rooms for a quick weekend trip. This worked out perfect! We were also pleasantly welcomed with a couple bottles of wine which was so nice. The beds were very comfortable and clean. The towels and bathrooms were clean and smelled fresh. I was also so happy to see that there were even some additional amenities provided in the drawers in the bathrooms that saved us from running out to the store (my husband forgot his shaving cream and my daughter broke her toothbrush). We even had some downtime one evening so we played cards and some games that were provided by the hosts. Thank you!

This house is one of the best I’ve EVER found on Air BandB. Everything I needed was there. It’s great for a dog, well decorated and the hosts are impeccable. I forgot my toothpaste, opened a drawer and there was a travel sized tube. PERFECT.

Our stay was fabulous! We walked in to a restful space with every amenity we needed. David graciously offered an early arrival, and while we didn’t need it, it was so nice to be offered. He also didn’t ask for a pet fee! This was a first! I appreciated it so much and it made us want to clean even more. The house is beautiful, and so is the neighborhood. The hosts were very easy to communicate with and were proactive. It was a great stay!

I am a repeat customer for Dave & Ellen and have stayed at their properties multiple times. This particular BnB is the favorite of our family - due to semi-regular trips to KC, this is like home away from home. I recently had to book with very short notice due to a family member's medical emergency. Dave and Ellen got me right in same day, and as always, the house was absolutely spotless and super comfy, as usual. Always a wonderful stay, despite the circumstances.

The home was more than expected and the pictures didn’t do it justice! David and Ellen were very responsive and available if there were any questions or concerns. I would HIGHLY recommend staying in this home and if I ever come back I would stay there again!

A lot of little touches that makes it convenient. The hosts have thought things out carefully. Plenty of beds which is what we needed and we played a lot of ping pong. Spotless and very nice linens. Right on 151st so a lot of things very conveniently located

The pictures do not do this home justice. You have to see it. Just the right touch of holiday decorations were throughout. The amenities and extra touches were truly appreciated. They provided many items you might forget and even those you wouldn’t think of, but may need. The home was so welcoming and the hosts were very responsive to all of our needs. This was my first AirBNB stay and they have definitely set the bar!
